Author Guidelines

Recommended guidelines include bibliographic and formatting standards alongside examples of common citation formats to be used in submissions are available within Instructions for Authors.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • All authors have been listed in List of Contributors (Metadata section) with e-mail addresses and OrcIDs.

Standard Issue

All artictles submitted to Geografický časopis (Geographical Journal) will be published within general section.

[Special Issue] EDUCATION AND SCHOOLING

Education in a broader sense and schooling as a network of educational institutions in a narrower sense significantly influence the development of any society. While many governments and policymakers declare education as one of their priorities in their declarations, we can identify partial problems related to education and schooling in society. This special issue, therefore, focuses on the spatial, social, and economic aspects of education, school systems, and their relationship to social and regional development. It aims to discuss problems in education and schooling and propose solutions for the needs of local authorities and policymakers.
