We are sorry to announce that the Honorary Founder of Studia Psychologica, professor Damian Kováč has passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 91 years. Professor Kováč was the founder of the Bratislava school of experimental psychology and the author of many scientific publications. He also started the journal Studia Psychologica as its first Editor-in-Chief in 1956 and lead the journal until 2009. He was responsible for making Studia Psychologica a respectable international journal, with English as a publishing language and indexed in established databases. He will be greatly missed not only by his family but also in the Slovak scientific community.Read more about Professor Kováč has passed away
