    The conference is organized every two years by the Cartographic Society of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with major academic institutions focusing on current issues and trends in cartography, geoinformatics and geodesy theory and practice. In 2024, the conference will be organised in cooperation with the Institute of Geography of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.

    Conference participants can contribute to the conference proceedings with an abstract of 1 standard page. The reviewers will recommend selected papers for publication in the scientific journal Kartografické listy (Scopus).

  • Ekonomický časopis/Journal of Economics

    Ekonomický časopis/Journal of Economics is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal published by the Institute of Economic Research SAS and the Institute for Forecasting (Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences) of SAS.

    It provides a platform for topics related to socio-economic development and economic policy in the European Union,  with a particular focus on the Central European region and an emphasis on the Slovak economy and national economic research. The journal prioritizes contemporary topics in macroeconomic and microeconomic research within the context of major trends such as the economic impacts of the financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, as well as technological changes (energy transformation, digitalization, robotics/automation, and artificial intelligence),  climate change and its effects on socio-economic development, the process of globalization/deglobalization, global financial stability, European integration, macroeconomic developments, monetary and fiscal policy, inflation, regional development, structural reforms, and new methodological approaches in machine and deep learning and their applications in economics and economic policy.

    Geografický časopis (Geographical Journal) publishes original and timely scientific articles that advance knowledge in all the fields of geography and significant contributions from the related disciplines. Papers devoted to geographical research of regions and localities (main focus on Slovakia and Central and Eastern Europe) and to theoretical and methodological questions of geography are especially welcome. Papers are written in the Slovak language with English abstract and summary or in English and occasionally in some other world languages.

    Informačný bulletin ÚK SAV je určený predovšetkým pre pracovníkov knižníc v knižnično-informačnej sieti SAV, ale taktiež pre všetkých zamestnancov SAV, ktorí sa zaujímajú o služby knižnice.

    Hlavným cieľom periodika je informovať o knižnično-informačnej sieti SAV. Základ tvoria novinky z oblasti knihovníctva, informácie o službách knižnice, dostupných databázach, postupoch vo vyhľadávaní v e-zdrojoch, a taktiež informácie k evidencii publikačnej činnosti pracovníkov SAV.

    Organon F esteems the standards typical of analytic philosophy, primarily those of conceptual clarity, precision and soundness of argumentation. The journal focuses on contemporary issues in philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, epistemology, metaphysics and philosophical logic. It also provides a platform for topics discussed in ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy and history of philosophy.

    The aim of this journal is to publish original research papers in all areas of mathematics containing new substantial and significant results or methods, with complete proofs.


    Contributions presented to the journal can also be short notes, surveys and possibly research problems. Occasionally the journal publishes book reviews, notices and news about topical events interesting to the mathematical community. In addition to regular issues, supplementary issues are published focusing on a theme of current interest, honoring an individual, or containing proceedings of a conference.

  • Journal of Hydrology and Hydromechanics

    JOURNAL OF HYDROLOGY AND HYDROMECHANICS is an international open access journal for the basic disciplines of water sciences. The scope of hydrology is limited to catchment hydrology, vadose zone hydrology and biohydrology, primarily of temperate zone. The hydromechanics covers theoretical, experimental and computational hydraulics and fluid mechanics in various fields, two- and multiphase flows, including non-Newtonian flow, and new frontiers in hydraulics. The journal is published quarterly in English. The types of contribution include: research and review articles, short communications and technical notes. The articles have been thoroughly peer reviewed by international specialists and promoted to researchers working in the same field. Authors do not pay any fees.

NEOPLASMA publishes original and up-to-date peer-reviewed articles describing novel findings in molecular and genetic mechanisms relating to the neoplastic phenotype, as well as tumor immunology, carcinogenesis, experimental tumor therapy, cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Only original articles are accepted which have not been published elsewhere. NEOPLASMA also publishes minireviews and book reviews, while “case report” articles are excluded.

    The international journal Studia Psychologica is published by the Institute of Experimental Psychology, Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovak Republic, since 1956. Studia Psychologica is open-access journal since 2016.

    This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the users or their institution.
