Open Journal Systems (OJS) is an open source software application for managing and publishing scholarly journals. SAS Center of Operations: Computing Center operates an instance of OJS on its own computing resources and provides it as a service for all SAS institutes.     World Literature Studies is a scholarly journal published quarterly by Institute of World Literature, Slovak Academy of Sciences. It publishes original, peer-reviewed scholarly articles and book reviews in the areas of general and comparative literature studies and translatology. It was formerly known (1992—2008) as Slovak Review of World Literature Research. The journal’s languages are Slovak, Czech, English and German. Abstracts appear in English.

  • Contributions to Geophysics and Geodesy

  • Slovenský národopis/Slovak Ethnology

    Slovak Ethnology / Slovenský národopis is an academic peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Ethnology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava four times a year since 1953. The first issue of each year is published in Slovak/Czech, and the second, third and fourth ones in English. Slovenský národopis presents to the international academic community the results of research in social sciences and humanities, mainly in the field of ethnology and cultural/social anthropology. The journal publishes articles by experts from Europe and overseas. The journal is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI, WoS) and Scopus.

  • Informačný bulletin ÚK SAV

    Informačný bulletin ÚK SAV je určený predovšetkým pre pracovníkov knižníc v knižnično-informačnej sieti SAV, ale taktiež pre všetkých zamestnancov SAV, ktorí sa zaujímajú o služby knižnice.

    Hlavným cieľom periodika je informovať o knižnično-informačnej sieti SAV. Základ tvoria novinky z oblasti knihovníctva, informácie o službách knižnice, dostupných databázach, postupoch vo vyhľadávaní v e-zdrojoch, a taktiež informácie k evidencii publikačnej činnosti pracovníkov SAV.

    Vychádza dvakrát ročne.

  • Studia Psychologica

    The international journal Studia Psychologica is published by the Institute of Experimental Psychology, Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovak Republic, since 1956. Studia Psychologica is open-access journal since 2016.


    This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the users or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.


     

  • Filozofia

    FILOZOFIA publishes original articles in a wide range of areas including metaphysics, epistemology, history of philosophy, social and political philosophy, philosophy of mind, ethics, philosophy of religion and related disciplines. The journal is published monthly, with the exception of July and August, i.e. ten issues yearly. The articles are accepted in Slovak, Czech and English languages.

  • Organon F

    Organon F is an international journal of analytic philosophy, founded in 1994. It is international with regard to both its submissions and its readership.


    Organon F esteems the standards typical of analytic philosophy, primarily those of conceptual clarity, precision and soundness of argumentation. The journal focuses on contemporary issues in philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, epistemology, metaphysics and philosophical logic. It also provides a platform for topics discussed in ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy and history of philosophy.


    Organon F publishes research articles, discussion notes, book reviews and reports written in English. The journal is published quarterly. It appears in February, May, August and November in both the print and the online format.
